Senior Guy Portraits on Oahu – Christina and her family just moved to Oahu. So, we loved the fact that she contacted us to do her son’s senior shoot. It’s been a long year so these pictures meant a lot more than they usually do. We hope that things return back to normal very soon.

These senior pictures were happened at Lanikai Beach. We choose to do a sunrise shoot so we met very early on a Saturday morning in March. There is nothing quite like welcoming the day at Lanikai Beach.

Lanikai Beach is popularly known as the best beach in Oahu and ranks very highly in world statistics too. You’ll love the white powdery sand and many shades of ocean blue just like we did. Here is a highlight of this beautiful Hawaii senior photoshoot.

The Senior Session at Lanikai Beach

6am was when we met Christina’s son for his pictures. He had on a lovely white shirt and brown khaki shorts. We took lovely images of him in the water as the sun rose. We also took some of him next to brightly colored yellow and red canoes.

You’ll really like the pictures of him welcoming the sunrise with arms wide open. The pictures of him on a log and on the sand were also really good. We also captured him with brilliant greenery in the background.

The Importance of Senior Sessions

We love to capture these young ones at their senior shoot for many reasons. One of those is that you can see how bright their futures are and the excitement on their faces. Knowing that they are now out in the world and free to follow their dreams is amazing.

It is important to chronicle these moments for the memories. Soon they’re at college and only popping in during the holidays. These photos are great for displaying in the family album collection. Celebrating this milestone with pictures is a good idea.
