Hawaii Catholic Church Wedding || Hyatt Regency Waikiki– Waikiki Beach Resort Reception

Paula and Jeriq are from Vancouver BC, Canada and had their wedding here in St Augustine Church by the Sea Parish, Waikiki. This magnificent parish with its stained-glass window and beautiful art was the perfect location for the Hawaii catholic church wedding. We had earlier captured their engagement session at Waimanalo Beach and were more than happy to capture their wedding too.

Getting Ready at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki

Paula and Jeriq got ready for their wedding at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki – Waikiki Beach Resort. This destination has rooms adjacent to the famous Waikiki Beach and amazing views. You can see the ocean from its rooms. I was able to capture Paula getting ready and other important details. Some of them are the gorgeous wedding dress and the wedding rings. Paula looked amazing in her wedding dress.

The Hawaii Catholic Church Wedding Ceremony at the St. Augustine Church by the Sea Parish in Waikiki

Like we said earlier, this ceremony took place at the St. Augustine Church by the Sea Parish in Waikiki. Paula looked amazing walking down the aisle and soon enough the couple were married by the priest.

The Photo Session at Kahala Beach Park under Palm Trees

Paula and Jeriq’s main photo session took place at Kahala Beach Park. This destination is a short distance from Waikiki. About 20 minutes away by car. Before this however, we captured the couple and their wedding party of ten at the church. We also captured the couple with their families and their guests.

The wedding photoshoot at Kahala Beach Park was beautiful. There was laughter and fun and the couple looked gorgeous in the sand. We were also able to capture the rocks and the lovely waterfall. The bridesmaids looked amazing in their teal bridesmaid dresses and lovely smiles. So did the groomsmen in their suits.

The Outdoor Wedding Reception at Hyatt Regency Waikiki

This couple finished their photo session and headed back to Hyatt Regency Waikiki – Waikiki Beach Resort for their reception. Their venue looked beautiful as the sunset and was so romantic. The first dance was beautiful and Dynamic Sounds, their Hawaii wedding DJ did not let them down. The father-daughter dance was another special moment we loved capturing. We loved the beautiful one-tier cake at this couple’s wedding and the lighting was fantastic too.

What We Loved About This Wedding

We loved being a part of Paula and Jeriq’s wedding. The simple and beautiful vibes at this wedding made it memorable and everyone was genuinely happy. We also enjoyed beautiful details like Paula’s all white bouquet with snatches of yellow. The beautiful flowers on top of the wedding cake were also a nice touch.
